Getting Started

Welcome to Mozen — the workspace built for the Zettelkasten method. This guide gets you from zero to your first connected note.

1. Create a note

Press N anywhere, or click the ＋ button. Every note is an atomic card — one idea per card. Don't worry about folders; structure emerges from links, not hierarchy.

2. Link your ideas

Type [[ to link to another note. Links are bidirectional — the other note automatically shows a backlink. Over time these links form your personal knowledge graph.

3. Think on the canvas

Switch any workspace to Board mode to arrange cards spatially, draw connections, and build mind maps. The same notes live in both the document and the whiteboard view.

4. Read and capture

Import a PDF or EPUB into the built-in reader. Highlight passages and send them straight into your Zettelkasten as cards.

The goal isn't to collect notes — it's to connect them. Start small, link often, and let the structure grow on its own.
