The Art of Friction

In interface design, "snappy" is usually the goal. We want 0ms latency. But in the physical world, nothing moves instantly. Things have mass. Things have inertia.

Mozen introduces Intentional Friction.

When you scroll through our interface, you feel a weight. When you switch modes, the light shifts slowly, like clouds passing over the sun. This is not lag; it is presence. It creates a sense of consequence.

By slowing down the interface just slightly, we signal to your brain that this is a place for contemplation, not consumption. We are not trying to maximize your engagement metrics; we are trying to maximize your peace. Fast is for consumption; slow is for creation.
