Muji (Mujirushi Ryohin) translates to "No Brand Quality Goods". Their philosophy is not about saying "this is best", but saying "this is enough".

The Pursuit of "Enough"

Software usually pursues "More". More features, more integrations, more colors. Mozen pursues "Enough".

Is it enough to have Bold and Italic? Yes. Do you really need 50 heading sizes? No. Do you need text colors? No. Ink is black (or gold). That is enough.

By accepting limits, we liberate ourselves from the tyranny of choice. When you can't fiddle with the settings, you must work on the work.
